Biography

Christine is a Technical Evangelist for Microsoft, based in San Francisco, CA. Her passion is students (K-12 & university) and exciting them about the broad possibilities technology offers. She is on the US CSE CanAm Academic Team, and leads Microsoft engagement for faculty and students at Stanford and UC Berkeley. This last summer she lead the audience evangelism intern program. Christine also supports the local developer community through events, hackathons, and more. Before her current role, Christine did a 6 month rotation on the Microsoft Startup team, and helped activate over 100 startups on the Microsoft platform. Christine started at Microsoft in 2013 and won Microsoft’s Circle of Excellence award in 2015 for her work running Microsoft’s International Women’s Hackathon as well as being the US Evangelism lead for Office 365 development. Previously, she worked as a developer on Windows Sever as well as at Tesla Motors in quality assurance and Lawrence Berkeley Labs as a network engineer.
